As of June 16… schools reduce attendance to 5 classes and give students two days to prepare for final exams.

Public and private schools informed parents and students of reducing school hours during the period from June 16 to 23, in order to allow more time for academic review and preparation for the end of the third semester exams.
According to school circulars seen by Emirates Today, attendance will be compulsory during the period from June 16 to 19, with two sessions of the school day shortened, while some schools will implement a working system consisting of only five classes per day, from 7:15 am to 11:25 am, while attendance will not be mandatory on Monday and Tuesday, corresponding to June 22 and 23, indicating that students who wish to attend to benefit from academic review programs will continue to be received. The educational support and educational activities provided by schools during that period.
The administrations confirmed that these measures come within the framework of creating a supportive educational environment for students during the period preceding the final exams, which contributes to enhancing their academic readiness and alleviating the pressures associated with preparing for exams, while providing flexible options that combine school attendance and benefiting from self-review at home.
