The UAE Pavilion witnesses a remarkable presence on the first day of the Defense and Aviation Exhibition 2026 in Istanbul
Istanbul, 5 May / WAM / On the first day of its participation in the International Defense and Aviation Exhibition 2026 SAHA, in Istanbul, Turkey, the UAE National Pavilion witnessed a large turnout of international delegations, sector leaders, and representatives of the most prominent international companies operating in the fields of defense and security.
The pavilion’s participation comes with the support of the Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council “Tawazun,” and organized by the “ADNEC” Group, one of the “Modon” companies, to embody the UAE’s commitment to enhancing international cooperation in the defense and aviation sectors, and building qualitative industrial partnerships.
In addition to the remarkable turnout on the opening day of the UAE National Pavilion from senior military leaders and international delegations in the defense and security sectors, representatives of high-level delegations in the defense and security sectors from several countries visited the pavilion.
A number of officials expressed interest in learning about the latest systems and solutions presented by the leading Emirati companies in the defense and security sector, including Edge Group, Generation 5, and AAL Group.
Capital Events, the specialized event management arm of the ADNEC Group, held a number of meetings to promote the next session of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defense Exhibition (NAVDEX) in 2027, in addition to the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SIMTEX) scheduled to be held in 2028, with the aim of attracting participants from new markets.
