المملكة: Coinciding with their International Day…training midwives to work in health centers in Jeddah


The Department of Nursing and Midwifery Services at the Second Jeddah Health Cluster launched a training program to qualify midwives to work in health center clinics, coinciding with the International Day of the Midwife, with the aim of enhancing the quality of Primary care.

This strategic initiative seeks to provide integrated and comprehensive health care Efficiency of trainees.

These development efforts aim to raise the level of services provided in primary care centers, to ensure the provision of a safe pregnancy and childbirth journey.

The Second Jeddah Health Assembly confirmed that this step embodies its deep commitment to keeping pace with the health transformation that the Kingdom is witnessing in the maternity care sector.

The Assembly indicated that the program directly contributes to supporting the paths of the Saudi health care model, which sets Prevention and ease of access to services are his top priorities.

He stressed that “our investment in qualifying midwives is an investment in the health of future generations, and an essential step to enhance performance efficiency in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”
