Indonesia is working to stabilize the energy sector

Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, said that his country is currently working on preparing flexible political scenarios to ensure the stability of the energy sector, in light of the wide fluctuations witnessed in global oil prices, as the authorities confirm their rapid response to market changes in order to contain financial risks and protect consumers.
Yesterday, the Indonesian Antara news agency quoted Hartarto as saying that the government continues to monitor fuel prices in light of the continued fluctuations in global crude oil markets.
He added that global oil prices currently range between $90 and $120 per barrel, which reflects the current state of uncertainty resulting from external economic and political developments.
