He opened , Professor Dr. Fahd Al-Harbi, today, , to enhance the skills of and linking theoretical knowledge to specialized professional applications.

The opening witnessed the presence of the Vice-Presidents of the University and the Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, Dr. Osama bin Muhammad Al-Marshoud, to follow up on the two-day activities with the participation of wide academic and professional bodies.

Exhibition of Criminal Jurisprudence in Islamic Sharia

This exhibition, in its seventh edition, is part of a series of introductory exhibitions aimed at achieving the university’s strategic objectives and developing students’ skills in a practical and direct manner.

The event included more than 20 interactive sections, which reviewed aspects of criminal legislation and its close connection to medical and criminal applications, through realistic models and applied examples.

73 students from the Jurisprudence of Criminals and Punishments course participated in organizing these pillars, which reflected an advanced level of their presentation and analysis skills.

Effective participation

The organizers expected that the number of visitors to the exhibition would exceed 2,000 beneficiaries, based on attendance and participation indicators in the previous six editions.

The exhibition recorded active participation from multiple internal and external parties, including the College of Dentistry, the Forensic Evidence Department, and the Forensic Medical Services Center in the Eastern Region.

The Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, Dr. Osama Al-Marshoud, explained that this initiative seeks to enhance the quality of educational outcomes and prepare students who “possess the ability to analyze and deduce”.

Qualitative partnerships

He stated that the college focuses on combining legal foundations with contemporary understanding, which qualifies graduates to contribute effectively and efficiently in the fields of judiciary, investigation, and community service.

He pointed out that the excellence of the proposal demonstrated by the students and faculty members represents the result of joint efforts, stressing that true learning is evident in application, practice, and integration of disciplines through qualitative partnerships.

The Vice Dean of the College of Sharia and Law for Scientific Research and Innovation and Professor of the Criminal Jurisprudence and Punishment Course, Dr. Hamad bin Othman Al-Jamil, confirmed that the preliminary exhibitions represent an advanced educational platform to enhance students’ readiness for the labor market.

Continuous praise

He revealed that the college’s outcomes have received continuous praise from the judiciary and the Public Prosecution, which reflects the quality of academic and professional preparation that students receive.

He pointed out that this year’s edition is characterized by a qualitative orientation towards integrative education, by focusing directly on the connection between criminal jurisprudence and the fields of forensic medicine, dentistry, and field investigation.

The establishment of this specialized exhibition comes within the framework of Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University’s commitment to providing innovative educational models that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market and prepare highly qualified national cadres.
