Agreement between "Union Pharmaceuticals" and"El Neutra" To expand healthy nutrition solutions in the UAE
Abu Dhabi, 7 May / WAM / Al-Ittihad Pharmaceuticals, affiliated with the pharmaceutical logistics services hub of Mubadala Bio, signed an exclusive distribution and promotion agreement with “El Nutra”, a company specializing in nutritional technologies and healthy longevity, during its participation in the “Make in the UAE 2026” exhibition, with the aim of expanding access to medical nutrition solutions and nutritional treatments that support long healthy lifespan in the Emirates.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Ismail Ali Abdullah, Executive Director of the Strategic Parks Unit of the UAE Investment Sector at Mubadala, while it was signed by Hamad Hussein Al Marzouqi, Executive Vice President of Mubadala Bio, and Joseph Anton, CEO of El Neutra.
Under the agreement, Etihad Pharmaceuticals will undertake the exclusive marketing and distribution of L-Nutra nutritional products that support long, healthy lives within the country, including Prolon products, one of the innovative nutritional solutions designed to provide a nutritional approach that mimics fasting.
This partnership comes within Mubadala Bio’s strategy to expand its portfolio of advanced health solutions and enhance access to healthy longevity products, in a way that supports its direction towards developing the pharmaceutical industry sector by providing innovative and modern health products.
Ismail Ali Abdullah, Head of the Strategic Complexes Unit within the UAE Investment Sector at Mubadala, said that this partnership represents a natural extension of Mubadala’s investment in “El Nutra,” and reflects Abu Dhabi’s ambition to consolidate its position as a regional center for the pharmaceutical industry, noting that expanding access to the company’s products in the UAE contributes to providing innovative health solutions to individuals more efficiently and easily.
For his part, Hamad Hussein Al Marzouqi, Executive Vice President of Mubadala Bio, stressed that the agreement reflects the company’s ambition for leadership in the areas that shape the future of the pharmaceutical industry, explaining that cooperation with “El Nutra” contributes to expanding access to medical nutrition solutions and nutritional treatments related to long healthy lifespan within the country, thus enhancing Mubadala Bio’s role as a reliable partner in supporting quality of life and sustainable health.
Joseph Anton, CEO of El Nutra, said that the cooperation with Etihad Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Mubadala Bio, represents an important step to expand the company’s presence in the UAE, stressing that the agreement supports growth plans and allows nutritional solutions that support long, healthy life to reach a wider segment of individuals.
