Mansour bin Zayed and the Turkish President discuss cooperation relations between the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Office, met with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, within the framework of His Highness’s working visit to the Republic of Turkey.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” to the Turkish President and his wishes for Turkey and its friendly people further progress and prosperity, while President Recep Tayyip Erdogan conveyed to him his greetings to His Highness the President of the State, and his wishes for the UAE and its people continued development and growth.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various paths of cooperation and joint work between the UAE and the Republic of Turkey, and ways to enhance them in a way that supports the mutual development priorities of the two countries and their common interests and brings growth and prosperity to their friendly peoples, within the framework of strategic relations and the comprehensive economic partnership agreement that brings together the two countries and the common keenness to continue achieving its goals.
The meeting also touched on a number of regional issues, most notably the developments taking place in the Middle East and their repercussions on regional security and stability, and they exchanged views on them.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the strength of the relations between the UAE and the Republic of Turkey, and the common keenness to develop them in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples towards further progress and prosperity.
