The Head of State receives a phone call from the Lebanese President, during which he renewed his condemnation of the Iranian terrorist attacks

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Joseph Aoun, President of the sisterly Lebanese Republic, during which he renewed his condemnation of the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilians and civilian facilities in the UAE, stressing Lebanon’s solidarity with the state towards all the measures it takes to protect its security and sovereignty and ensure the safety of its lands, citizens and residents.

During the call, the two sides discussed fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation, especially development, and the keenness to continue supporting and developing it in a way that brings growth and prosperity to their brotherly peoples.

The call touched on the latest developments in the Lebanese issue and the efforts made to establish security and stability in Lebanon, and President Joseph Aoun appreciated the UAE’s truly brotherly positions in support of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and achieving its people’s aspirations for security and stability.

During the call, the two sides also reviewed the developments taking place in the Middle East region, stressing in this context the importance of working to strengthen the causes of stability and security and moving towards the path of peace in the region for the benefit of all its peoples and the development and prosperity of its countries. ‏
