10 African countries are threatened by an outbreak of the Ebola virus

The African Union health agency warned on Saturday that ten countries on the continent were at risk of an Ebola outbreak, in addition to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the epicenter of the epidemic, and neighboring Uganda.

The head of the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Jean Cassia, said in a press conference, “We have ten countries threatened” by the spread of the virus, explaining that the countries are South Sudan, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Congo, Burundi, Angola, the Central African Republic, and Zambia.
