BTS ignites Mexico City after an absence of 9 years… and tomorrow is the end of the tour
The The famous Korean BTSto ignite the enthusiasm of its Mexican fans, “ARMY”, after it performed its first concert in Mexico City after an absence of nine years, amid a huge audience presence exceeding 50 thousand spectators at Estadio GNP Seguros.
During the first night of three consecutive concerts, the band caught the attention by appearing in cowboy hats and T-shirts bearing the phrase “Ciudad de México”, in addition to its remarkable interaction with the audience. In Spanish.
During the concert, V said, addressing the audience in Spanish: “I learned a little Spanish, and I want to tell you how happy I am now. I miss my Mexican fans so much, you are the reason for my existence, and you are everything to me.”
Wide Tour
The huge circular stage witnessed performances inspired by the colors and symbols of the South Korean flag, in a direct tribute from the band to its homeland, whose culture it has come to represent globally through its music.
The band concluded the concert with a set of its most famous songs, including Dynamite, Please, and Into the Sun, amid a loud reaction from the Mexican audience.
The band is scheduled to continue its concerts in Mexico today and tomorrow, May 9 and 10, before moving on to an extensive tour in South America to promote its new album ARIRANG, which includes stops in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, with the tour concluding in Manila during March 2027.
