A lion attacked her… Details of the injury of Egyptian artist Marwa Abdel Moneim
The Egyptian artist Marwa Abdel Moneimhad a sudden accident while filming an episode of her program, after a lion cub attacked her while backstage at the episode, which resulted in her being injured in the shoulder and arm and being transported to the hospital to receive treatment.
The accident occurred while Marwa was inside the guest reception room accompanied by a lion trainer, as the cub was scheduled to appear in the program’s segments, before he surprised her with an attack while trying to pet him and take a picture with him, which caused a state of confusion inside the filming site.
Minor injury
A video clip documenting the moment of the attack spread, sparking widespread interaction on social media, amid concern that she had been seriously injured.
Medical examinations revealed an injury to the shoulder and arm, while the artist confirmed that her condition was stable and the injury was not serious, explaining that she left the hospital after receiving the necessary treatment.
Marwa Abdel Moneim indicated that she is currently in her home in good health, thanking everyone who reassured her. Her condition after the news spread.
