The Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit kicks off on May 19

The Ministry of Interior and Rabdan Academy, in cooperation with the ADNEC Group, are organizing the first edition of the Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit 2026, accompanying the International Exhibition for National Security and Risk Prevention (ISNR 2026), during the period from May 19 to 21, 2026 at the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center.

The summit represents a new international platform launched in response to the rapid transformations taking place in the global security landscape, and the growing need to enhance international cooperation and build more flexible and sustainable security systems.

The summit aims to bring together an elite group of decision-makers, security leaders and experts in the world to discuss the future of security, anticipate emerging challenges, and develop innovative solutions that support institutional readiness and security sustainability.

It includes an integrated program that includes keynote speeches by international officials and experts, strategic discussion sessions, closed round tables, research papers, and applied workshops, which provides a comprehensive platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and enhancing cooperation between governments, international organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector.

The summit is expected to witness broad participation from government officials, security leaders, experts, and representatives of international organizations and academic institutions from various countries around the world, which reflects the international character of the summit and its role in enhancing dialogue and cooperation to confront common security challenges.

Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of ISNR, said: “The Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit embodies the UAE’s vision to enhance international cooperation and adopt a proactive approach to confront changing security challenges. It provides an important platform that brings together leaders and experts from around the world to exchange knowledge, enhance integration, and develop more prepared and sustainable security systems.”

He pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit reflects the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and investing in knowledge and innovation as a basic pillar to ensure the security and stability of societies.

For his part, President of Rabdan Academy, James Morse, stressed that the launch of the Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit is a strategic step towards providing an international platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences in the fields of security and preparedness.


He added: “This summit reflects the UAE’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation and supporting the development of security systems capable of keeping pace with changing challenges, which contributes to enhancing readiness and sustainability at the national and international levels.”

For his part, ADNEC Group CEO, Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, said: “ISNR continues to consolidate its position as the most reliable platform in the region for shaping the future of security. Sessions on the first day of the summit focus on technology-enabled resilient governance and national emergency preparedness, exploring ways to integrate advanced technologies, data analytics and digital platforms to enhance decision-making processes, reduce risks and enhance resilience to crises.

The second day’s sessions included workshops on the future of security work and community trust, where discussions focused on the use of innovative police techniques and their intersection with community interaction strategies and ethical considerations, which contributes to consolidating the principles of trust, justice, and inclusiveness in law enforcement practices.

On the third and final day, the summit program highlights the topic of innovation in building the capabilities of emergency systems. It addresses modernizing frameworks for dealing with emergencies and crises, training first response teams using advanced tools, and integrating emerging technologies to better distribute resources and adapt to changing global challenges.
