Sweden.. Two arrested persons were involved in exporting “advanced products” to Russia
The Swedish security services explained, in an official statement, that the two suspects were arrested last week pending investigation, as part of a broad security operation that included carrying out several raids and house searches. The statement added that in-depth investigations are still ongoing, without revealing further details regarding the identity of those arrested or the nature of the activities in which they are suspected of being involved. According to judicial documents, the facts related to the case date back to the period extending between June 2025 and May 2026, as part of investigations related to breaching European sanctions imposed on Russia. The judicial authorities are expected to issue the indictment before the fifth. From next June, while the European Union continues to impose restrictions on imports and exports with Russia since the outbreak of war in Ukraine in February 2022.
