Cybersecurity Council and"Cybex Holdings" They divorce "Emirates Cyber Factory"

Abu Dhabi, 12 May / WAM / The UAE Government Cyber Security Council, in cooperation with CYBEX Holding, announced the launch of the “Emirates Cyber Factory”, in a step aimed at strengthening the country’s digital leadership and consolidating its cyber sovereignty.
This project comes in light of the rapid development of cyber threats in terms of size and complexity, which contributes to enhancing the state’s ability to predict, monitor and respond to advanced cyber attacks, whether targeting institutions or individuals.
The Cybersecurity Council confirmed that the UAE has recorded more than 800,000 cyberattacks daily in recent months, which reflects the need to strengthen an advanced and flexible defense system to protect vital national infrastructure and consolidate digital confidence in society.
His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, Chairman of the UAE Government Cyber Security Council, said that the launch of the “Emirates Cyber Factory” represents a new stage in the country’s journey towards strengthening its leadership in the cybersecurity sector and consolidating its position as a global center for advanced cybersecurity and an effective digital force that contributes to shaping the future of this sector.
He added that, in light of the growing global challenges, the UAE offers an advanced model that is not limited to protection only, but also extends to innovation and leadership by developing advanced technologies capable of monitoring, preventing, and responding to cyber threats with high efficiency.
He explained that the “Emirates Cyber Factory” will design, build and expand the scope of the new generation of cyber capabilities through the development of advanced programmes, technologies and systems supported by artificial intelligence, in a way that enhances the country’s readiness to deal with accelerating threats with greater efficiency and accuracy.
His Excellency indicated that the factory will operate as an integrated sovereign system that enables the state to possess and develop its cyber capabilities locally through its various stages, thus enhancing its digital independence and supporting its proactive readiness to confront risks and threats.
Through this project, the Cybersecurity Council and Cybex Holding Company seek to create a qualitative shift in the country’s cybersecurity system, in line with the UAE’s trends towards designing, developing and producing local cyber solutions with global competitiveness.
For his part, Hadi Anwar, CEO of CYBEX Holding, expressed the company’s pride in partnering with the Cybersecurity Council in this strategic project, which represents a pivotal step towards building an advanced sovereign cyber system ready for the future.
