7 dead and 20 wounded in a suicide bombing in Pakistan

A bombing carried out by a suicide bomber driving a three-wheeled explosives-laden vehicle killed at least seven people and injured twenty others, in northwestern Pakistan.

Agence France-Presse quoted Mohammad Sajjad Khan, a senior local police official, as saying that initial reports indicate that the suspected suicide bomber approached two highway patrol policemen stationed at a checkpoint before he blew himself up, in the Saray Norang area of ​​Lakki Marwat district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwestern Pakistan.

This attack comes a few days after another suicide car bombing targeted a police checkpoint in Bannu, northwest of the country, followed by an armed clash with security forces that killed 15 policemen.
