Engineering recruitment fair in Ras Al Khaimah provides 100 jobs

Ras Al Khaimah, May 14 / WAM / The Human Resources Department of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, in strategic partnership, with the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department, and the Higher Colleges of Technology – Ras Al Khaimah Branch, and with the participation of the Engineering Consulting Offices, today organized the “Engineering Employment Accelerator” exhibition, with the aim of providing more than 100 job opportunities for graduates of bachelor’s degrees in engineering specializations.
The one-day exhibition comes within the framework of joint efforts between the partners to support Emiratisation goals, align educational outcomes with the needs of the labor market, and enhance opportunities to attract and qualify national competencies in vital engineering specializations, thus contributing to supporting the sustainable development process witnessed by the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
The program targets newly graduated national engineers who have not completed the years of experience required to practice the profession, by providing a practical training and qualification environment, providing them with field experience, raising their readiness for the labor market and developing their applied skills.
Her Excellency Sarah Al Zaabi, Director General of the Human Resources Department in Ras Al Khaimah, confirmed that the exhibition represents a practical model of effective government partnerships that translate the emirate’s trends towards investing in national human capital, noting that this initiative comes as an extension of institutional integration in supporting the “Preparing Citizen Engineers” program in a way that enhances the sustainability of qualifying and empowering national engineering competencies.
For his part, His Excellency Munther Mohammed bin Shukr Al Zaabi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department, confirmed that the “Preparing Citizen Engineers” program, which is supervised by the department, is a translation of its vision of investing in national engineering competencies, and preparing a qualified generation capable of keeping pace with the requirements of urban development and supporting the strategic projects witnessed by the emirate.
He expressed the department’s pride in supervising this program, which represents one of the strategic initiatives aimed at empowering young Emirati competencies and qualifying them professionally and practically to engage in the engineering sector, pointing out that the “Engineering Employment Accelerator” exhibition is an extension of the program and a practical translation of its outcomes, by providing qualitative professional opportunities and linking graduates directly to the labor market, which contributes to the preparation of national engineering cadres who possess the knowledge, experience and readiness to lead future development projects.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Hassan Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology in Ras Al Khaimah, stressed that the exhibition embodies the importance of linking the academic path and practical application, which enhances the readiness of graduates to engage in the labor market, and constitutes a practical platform that contributes to empowering graduates, enhancing their professional readiness, and translating their academic knowledge into practical applications that serve the national development process.
The exhibition provides participants with the opportunity to pre-register and conduct final interviews on the same day, which contributes to accelerating recruitment procedures and achieving a qualitative experience for graduates looking for promising professional opportunities.
