We are confident in DP World’s ability to overcome any challenges

Today, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, visited Jebel Ali Port, and met with the work team at DP World.

His Highness said in his official account on the “X” platform: “Today I visited Jebel Ali Port and met the work team at DP World, and I was briefed on the operational response in light of the expansion of land and railway transport operations through specific projects, such as the Jebel Ali railway freight station, where the capacity of the station will reach 1.6 million TEUs annually, and during the past two months, the group handled 200,000 TEUs across land and railway transport corridors…”

His Highness continued: “DP World today is a driving force for approximately 10% of global trade, with operations extending across 80 countries on six continents. We are confident in the ability of DP World, with its accumulated experience and global strategic partnerships, to overcome any challenges and continue the process of growth and innovation.”
