Mohammed bin Rashid inaugurates the “Al Sheraa” building… the tallest, largest and smartest energy-positive government building in the world

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, inaugurated the Al Sheraa Building, the new headquarters of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority in the Al Jaddaf area, the tallest, largest and smartest energy-positive government building in the world.
His Highness said in a blog post on his account on the “X” platform: 110,000 smart sensors, more than 1,500 wireless access points, and 3,200 network devices to produce more than 1.9 million automatic control commands daily, with an electricity production capacity of 5 megawatts distributed between two main systems of photovoltaic panels.
His Highness added: “A global architectural icon that embodies Dubai’s leadership in innovation and sustainability, an inspiring model in sustainability, energy efficiency, and employing technology to serve humanity.”
