US Central Command confirms the continuation of its operations in the Strait of Hormuz and stresses freedom of navigation

The US Central Command affirmed its commitment to remaining in the region, indicating that its forces will continue their operations in the Strait of Hormuz region to ensure regional security and stability. The leadership stressed its firm position that all ships should enjoy absolute freedom of navigation in the strait without any obstacles.

In an indication of the continuation of normal navigation, the command announced that more than 20 ships were able to cross the Strait of Hormuz safely during the night hours, through the sea lane located on the Omani side of the strait.
