Russia and Ukraine exchange 500 prisoners of war

Kiev and Moscow exchanged 205 prisoners of war from each side, The Russian Army, a week after US President Donald Trumpannounced an agreement related to a new exchange process.

This came in a statement by the army "On May 15, 205 Russian soldiers were returned from Kiev-controlled territory"adding "In return, 205 prisoners of war from the Ukrainian Armed Forces were handed over".

The army added that "Russian military personnel are currently present on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, where they are receiving the necessary psychological and medical assistance".
