Before passengers boarded, the front landing gear of a plane crashed at Frankfurt Airport
The German company Lufthansa announced on Thursday that Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner tilted to its nose while parked at Los Angeles.
A company spokeswoman told Agence France-Presse: While the plane was parked at the departure gate, the front landing gear unexpectedly collapsed.
Multiple injuries
The company explained that members of the maintenance crew and ground services employees were on the plane when the accident occurred, which led to the injury of a number of them, without specifying their number or the extent of their injuries.
It confirmed that it is studying the circumstances of the accident in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
According to the website "Aerotelegraph"The damaged plane is modern, its manufacture dates back about a year, and the German group received it in January.
