The Head of State receives the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Australia

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received Richard Marles, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Australia.

During the meeting, His Highness and the Australian Defense Minister discussed areas of cooperation and joint work between the two countries and opportunities for their development, especially in defense affairs.

The meeting also touched on a number of issues of common interest, most notably developments in the Middle East region, with their serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability, in addition to the security of global navigation.
