Al Ain writes history with the “Golden League”

Al Ain achieved a historic achievement by winning the Professional Football League title without any loss, after defeating Dibba 4-0, in the final round of the competition, which brought them together, on Saturday, at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

The 15th minute included two prominent events on the night of winning the fifteenth title in Al Ain’s history, after Moroccan Sofiane Rahimi opened the scoring after following a ball that bounced off a shot by Paraguayan Kaku, putting it into the net empty of its goalkeeper, while Al Ain fans who filled the stands raised a banner of thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, in appreciation for his leadership of Al Ainawiya’s ship of successes.

Togolese Laba Kodjou increased Al-Zaeem’s lead by scoring the second goal, taking advantage of a cross ball sent by Amadou Niang, and turning it into the net amid defensive monitoring by the Dibba players (21).

In the second half, Eric Menezes was able to add the third goal for Al Ain after a ball he followed from Hussein Rahimi (79).

Yahya bin Khaleq concluded the Al Ain goal festival after following up on a rebound from the post, completing it into the goal, “90+2.”

Al Ain continued to write records, as it had never lost in any match it played on the night of its crowning of the league title, after winning 11 matches against four draws.

Goalkeeper Khaled Issa also came out with a historic record, after scoring his 100th clean sheet match in his career in the professional league, achieving his fourteenth “clean sheet” during the current season.
