Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi: The UAE is a reliable center for international dialogue and cooperation in the areas of national security and risk prevention

ABU DHABI, 18th May / WAM / Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the International Exhibition for National Security and Risk Prevention “ISNR 2026”, stressed the importance of the exhibition in its ninth session, which is held under the patronage of Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, as it is a specialized global platform that reflects the increasing importance of security and safety in protecting societies and enhances the readiness of security systems to face future challenges.

Al Raisi said in statements to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the world is witnessing accelerating security challenges, which reinforces the importance of presenting an exceptional version of “ISNR 2026” that reflects the UAE’s vision of building advanced security systems that are more prepared to face the challenges of the future.

He explained that the broad international participation of 37 countries in the exhibition represents a clear reflection of the global position that the UAE and Abu Dhabi have established as a reliable center for international dialogue and cooperation in the fields of national security and risk prevention.

Al-Raisi pointed out that this participation confirms the growing international confidence in the ISNR platform and its pivotal role in bringing together decision-makers, experts and industry leaders under one umbrella to discuss changing security challenges and formulate innovative future solutions.

He stressed that the increase in the number of participating countries reflects global appreciation for the approach taken by the UAE in developing advanced security systems based on innovation, emerging technology, and integration between various stakeholders, which contributes to building safer, more sustainable, and more resilient societies in the face of future challenges.

Al-Raisi pointed out the importance of the participation of local and international companies specialized in the security sectors, which showcase their latest innovations in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, surveillance technologies, emergency response systems, and solutions for protecting critical infrastructure.

He said that the UAE’s organization and hosting of major conferences and exhibitions in the fields of defense and security, most notably ISNR 2026, enhances the country’s role in spreading security and peace at the global level.

He added that the ninth session coincides with the Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit, which embodies the vision of the wise leadership in consolidating the UAE’s position as a global center for security dialogue and creating future solutions by bringing together an elite group of leaders, experts and decision-makers to discuss the most prominent global challenges and transformations and highlighting the role of artificial intelligence and modern technologies in supporting security and emergency systems and enhancing their sustainability.

He stressed that the UAE spares no effort in supporting international peace and security and enhancing international cooperation in the security fields by attracting major international specialized companies, experts and decision-makers, which is what ISNR provides through an integrated platform that brings together various industry leaders to discuss the future of the security sector and ways to develop it.

Al Raisi explained that the Ministry of Interior is keen to continue the successes achieved in previous sessions, after it has become a prominent global event that brings together security leaders, decision makers and innovators from various countries of the world, in its ninth and largest session in its history.

He pointed out that this year the exhibition is witnessing six new events, the most prominent of which is the launch of the “Artificial Intelligence for Security Forum” for the first time, to constitute a high-level strategic platform that brings together, over three days, leaders of governments, security agencies, technology providers, and artificial intelligence experts.

He added that the event will also witness the launch of the “Code Breaker” hackathon, which allows participants to engage in a realistic simulation of cybersecurity challenges, highlighting the importance of digital protection as the first line of defense for modern infrastructure, and highlighting innovations capable of confronting advanced cyberattacks.

The exhibition witnesses the presentation of the “Fire Trucks” platform, which showcases the latest vehicles, technologies, and equipment specialized in the fire protection sector, with the participation of the most prominent international companies, along with the authorities concerned with civil defense, emergency response, and decision makers.

Regarding the importance of artificial intelligence applications, Al Raisi stressed that interest in artificial intelligence and its use to facilitate daily work is of interest to the wise leadership, which enhances the UAE’s leadership and precedence in keeping pace with technological developments that contribute to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of the UAE community.

He said that ISNR 2026 events highlight the latest innovations in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, critical infrastructure protection, and emergency response technologies.

He added that the “Artificial Intelligence for Security Forum” discusses the transformative role of artificial intelligence technologies in strengthening national security systems, cyber defense, law enforcement, and protecting critical infrastructure, in addition to providing an interactive space for cooperation between various sectors in light of the rapid transformations witnessed in the global security landscape.

Al Raisi expressed the organizing committee’s aspiration, through the ninth and largest session of ISNR, to achieve the desired goals and enhance the position of Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a reliable global partner in developing national security systems and preventing risks.
