“Defense” opens registration for citizens in supporting medical professions

The Ministry of Defense announced the opening of registration to attract national cadres in the allied health professions sector, which includes nursing specialties, field paramedics, and medical technical professions.

The Ministry specified, in a publication on the “X” platform, eight conditions that must be met by applicants, which are: The applicant must be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates, obtain a percentage of 75% in the advanced track, or 85% in the general track, achieve an average of (5.0 or higher) in the IELTS test, and an average of 80% in the grades of scientific subjects and the English language.

The applicant must be medically fit, of good conduct, have completed national service, the applicant must not be more than 24 years old, and must pass the personal interview scheduled by the committee.

The Ministry explained the privileges that enrollees receive, which include paying a monthly salary to the trainee during the study period, and the graduate is given a salary and a lucrative bonus according to rank.

Regarding the registration mechanism, the Ministry explained that registration can be made through the “Recruitment” smart application, through the following steps: logging in using the digital ID, submitting an application to join, choosing the supporting medical professions project, filling out personal data and uploading the required attachments.
