The Abu Dhabi Judiciary adopts a mechanism for communicating between inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centers with their families during the Eid

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has approved the schedule for visual communication between inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centers and their families during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, in line with its ongoing efforts to strengthen family ties and consolidate human values ​​by providing a correctional environment that takes into account the psychological and social aspects of inmates, and to support their effective communication with their family environment as an essential part of the rehabilitation system.

The period extending from Tuesday, May 26, until Friday, May 29, 2026, was set as a date for holding the digital sessions, to be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the morning period of Friday allocated for female inmates to communicate with their families from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

These sessions are carried out via an application ““Nafezti” smart phone, which allows guests to communicate with their families remotely through dedicated centers equipped with the latest technological means, ensuring ease of procedures and streamlined service.
