The Dubai Events Insurance Committee completes its preparations for Eid Al Adha

The Dubai Police General Command, represented by the Events Security Committee, has completed its preparations to secure Eid Al Adha through a comprehensive security, traffic and service plan covering mosques, major prayer halls, main roads, vital and tourist areas, commercial centers and open markets in the emirate.
During the committee meeting at Al Qusais Police Station, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs and Chairman of the Event Insurance Committee, Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, confirmed the readiness of the various concerned authorities to implement the insurance plan in cooperation with strategic partners, in a way that enhances security and safety and ensures the smooth flow of traffic during the Eid holiday.
He appealed to members of the public to adhere to the speed limits on the roads, and to avoid reckless driving, in order to preserve the safety of lives and property. He also called on beach and swimming pool users to pay attention to children, and urged users of jet skis and desert vehicles to drive with caution.
He called on parents not to allow children to use fireworks during Eid, as they pose risks, injuries, and fire accidents that may threaten lives and property.
He pointed out that the Events Security Committee, the General Administration of Police Stations, and the Positive Spirit Council will organize sports tournaments, awareness lectures, entertainment segments, raffles, and competitions in the workers’ housing areas in Jebel Ali, Satwa, Al-Musnah, and Al-Quoz during the first and second days of Eid, with the aim of making workers happy and sharing the joy of the occasion.
