Emirates Blood Donation launches the “With Blood, We Help You, O Homeland” initiative

The Emirates Blood Donation Association launched the “With Blood, We Help You, O Homeland” initiative in its fifth year, organized and under its supervision, in a national step that reflects the country’s commitment to promoting humanitarian work and consolidating the values ​​of community giving.

The launch of the initiative was attended by the Chairman of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, Shams Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, who took the initiative to donate blood. He stressed that this humanitarian initiative embodies the vision of the wise leadership, in consolidating the values ​​of solidarity and community cohesion, and pointed out that blood donation represents an honorable form of solidarity among members of Emirati society, and reflects the originality and high humanitarian spirit that characterizes the people of the country.

He added that the continuation of the initiative for the fifth year in a row reflects its success and positive impact, and confirms the vital role of third sector institutions as an active partner in achieving national development goals, praising the contributions of partners and supporters to the success and sustainability of this initiative.

For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Blood Donation Association, Counselor Dr. Ali Ahmed Al Ansari, expressed his happiness at launching the fifth edition of the initiative, which he considered one of the basic pillars of the association’s work, and reflects the state of cohesion and unity that the Emirati society is experiencing behind its wise leadership.

He pointed out that the initiative enjoys the support and cooperation of a number of strategic partners, namely the Department of Community Development, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and ADNOC, who had a great impact in achieving the goals of the initiative and expanding its scope.

Al-Ansari stressed that “With blood, we will water you, O homeland,” embodies the civilized face of the UAE in the fields of giving and giving, and reflects society’s commitment to its humanitarian responsibility, in line with the state’s vision of promoting community cohesion and consolidating the culture of volunteer work.
