The Governor of Ras Al Khaimah orders the release of 443 inmates on the occasion of Eid Al Adha

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, ordered the release of 443 inmates from the Correctional and Punitive Institution in Ras Al Khaimah, who had been subjected to various sentences, met the conditions for pardon, and were qualified to integrate into society and contribute to its construction, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Adha.
This high honor reflects His Highness’s interest in this group, and his keenness to enable them to live their lives with their families on this blessed occasion, based on the values of forgiveness and tolerance established in UAE society.
The order of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi came after the close follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, who assigned the Pardon Committee to prepare the necessary statements and coordinate with the Public Prosecution Department in the Emirate and the General Command of the Ras Al Khaimah Police in this regard. He urged everyone to ensure that the initiative of His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah achieves its lofty goals of making inmates happy and preparing them to return to prison. their families and their community as productive individuals.
The Attorney General of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, Counselor Hassan Saeed Muhaimed, expressed his sincere thanks for this high honor from His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, which reflects His Highness’s keenness to bring happiness and happiness to the souls of the families of the inmates, their families and their children in these blessed and happy days.
