Reducing working hours in government agencies by one hour during the summer

Today, Thursday, the Kuwaiti Civil Service Commission announced the reduction of official working hours by one hour during the summer, from June 1, 2026, until August 31, 2026, provided that the usual working hours will be returned after this date, so that the number of working hours for government agencies will become 6 hours, while the start of the evening working hours is set at five in the evening.
The working hours of government agencies implementing the work system begin at eight in the morning, with the employee allowed to leave during working hours at any time, provided that he completes 6 working hours according to his attendance time.
