Sharjah Police confirms its readiness to receive Eid Al-Adha

Sharjah, May 21 / WAM / The Sharjah Police General Command announced its readiness to receive Eid Al Adha by implementing a comprehensive security and traffic plan that was prepared in coordination with various competent departments with the aim of enhancing security and safety for citizens, residents and visitors during the days of Eid.
His Excellency Brigadier General Omar Al-Ghazal, Director General of the General Department of Operations and Security Support, explained that the plan includes a set of preventive and proactive measures, the most prominent of which is strengthening the security and traffic presence in the vicinity of mosques and increasing the spread of patrols, in addition to monitoring the main and secondary roads through the central operations room to ensure the smooth flow of movement, in addition to allocating field teams to deal with any emergencies or negative behaviors that may affect the atmosphere of the happy Eid.
He pointed out that the security plan also includes intensifying oversight efforts to deal with a number of negative behaviors and manifestations that may affect the security and comfort of society during the Eid period.
He stressed the keenness of Sharjah Police to immediately deal with complaints related to inconvenience in residential areas resulting from the irresponsible use of vehicles in order to preserve the comfort of residents, in addition to the importance of securing homes when traveling or leaving during vacation by adhering to safety procedures and not leaving valuables or doors and windows unsecured.
Brigadier General Al-Ghazal stressed that the leadership pays great attention to the safety of children in swimming areas and beaches by intensifying awareness of the necessity of constantly monitoring children and not leaving them unsupervised, which contributes to preventing accidents and enhancing the safety of families during the Eid period.
Sharjah Police called on community members to immediately report any emergency situations or violating behavior through the communication channels, which are 999 for emergency cases and 901 for non-emergency cases.
