Tenders: 1.4 million dinars for comprehensive maintenance work on the “Supreme Judiciary” building

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes of 3 tenders for the Ministry of Works, presenting 13 different bids, including a tender for comprehensive maintenance and painting work for the Supreme Judicial Council building in the Diplomatic District.
The Ministry stated that the project includes a comprehensive renovation of the Supreme Judicial Council building, aiming to raise the building’s efficiency and improve the safety of its users and its general appearance, indicating that it covers three main areas: civil and construction works, which include comprehensive external and internal maintenance “such as repairing cracks, treating the basement, renovating rooms, ceilings, floors, and bathrooms, and replacing windows.”
The Ministry added that the works also include mechanical works that focus on comprehensive maintenance of air conditioning units, water and drainage networks, and elevators to enhance safety, in addition to electrical works that include replacing main panels, internal and external lighting, and upgrading the generator and fire alarm system. It received 7 bids, the least of which amounted to 1.4 million dinars.
In the second tender for the Ministry of Works, the Ministry announced its desire to establish Al-Tadamon Sports Club, which would include a multi-purpose sports hall, including an administrative building, a fitness hall, and two football fields, in addition to other facilities and related external works. It obtained two bids, the least of which amounted to 172 thousand dinars.
As for the third tender, the Ministry requested the appointment of a qualified consulting company to update the national sanitation plan to assess the current status of the network and develop a hydraulic model in addition to studying the needs of treated water and ways to exploit the quantities produced, and preparing technical reports with the necessary recommendations to achieve the goals of the national plan. It received 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 442 thousand dinars.
