He pointed out that the Ministry began early preparations for the Hajj season 1448 AH, announcing a package of new developments that include the launch of the comprehensive package that includes services for the holy sites and accommodation in Mecca and Medina, with mandatory transportation and catering services for the duration of the pilgrims’ stay.

In addition to developing the Hajj packages, to include canceling Package (D) and developing the packages to be in 3 categories that suit the desires and needs of pilgrims, in addition to launching The training program to qualify the members of the Pilgrimage Offices, which will be a mandatory condition for obtaining a Hajj visa for the members of the office.

Timetable for Pilgrimage Affairs

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah announced the timetable for the work of the Pilgrimage Affairs Offices for the year 1448 AH, which includes providing housing preference to the Pilgrimage Affairs Offices and external Hajj companies in Mecca and Medina, starting from Muharram 15, 1448 AH corresponding to June 30, 2026 AD.
In addition to giving priority to offices wishing to maintain their current locations in the Holy Sites when contracting for the comprehensive package via the platform "Electronic path" Until 30 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to August 13, 2026 AD, and announcing registration for Hajj in the pilgrim’s country no later than 15 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH, corresponding to September 26, 2026 AD, provided that the deadline for documenting air carrier contracts is via the platform "Electronic path" The same date is September 26, in preparation for its display during the Hajj Conference and Exhibition scheduled to be held next November.

Honoring the winners of the “Libitum” Award

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency honored the winners of the “Libitum” Award for Excellence in Services for the Guests of God in the category of distinguished carriers in transporting 50 flights, for both Royal Bruneian Airlines and Middle East Airlines for Lebanon Airlines, and the Distinguished Carriers Award for transporting 150 flights for airlines. Daallo Airlines and Malaysia Airlines, and the Distinguished Carriers Award for transporting more than 150 flights for Flynas and Saudi Airlines.

As for the Excellence in Communication Award for the Hajj season 1447 AH, it included representatives from Turkey, Kosovo, India, Ethiopia, Pakistan and Tajikistan, in appreciation of their efforts in enhancing communication and service to pilgrims.

His Excellency also honored the winners of the “Libitum” Award for Excellence in Services to the Guests of God. For the external Hajj agencies category, Al-Miraj Organizing Company Limited came in first place, and Ibrahim Organizing Company Limited came in second place.
While Al-Fattah Organizing Company Limited came in third place, followed by Holy Journeys Company in fourth place, AJEX Tours and Local Support Services Company in fifth place, and Firdous Hajj Company in sixth place.

Pilgrims Affairs Offices

In the category of Pilgrims Affairs Offices, the Diamond Award was won by the Pilgrims of Malaysia, the Pilgrims Affairs Office of the Republic of Iraq, and the Pilgrims Affairs Office of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
While the gold award was won by the Pilgrims Affairs Offices of the Republic of Djibouti, the Union of the Comoros, and the Republic of Turkey, and the Silver Award was won by the Pilgrims Affairs Offices of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
While the bronze award went to the Pilgrims Affairs Offices of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Republic of Tunisia, and the Republic of Singapore.

The “Khatama Misk” ceremony is an extension of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s approach to promoting a culture of excellence and celebrating distinguished models in serving the guests of God, and motivating partners to continue developing services and improving the pilgrim’s experience, in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership – may God support it – and in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
