المملكة: After Eid al-Adha vacation…students return to study tomorrow and prepare for final exams – Urgent
School students will return to school tomorrow, Tuesday, 16 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to June 2, 2026 AD, after the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday, to complete Final exams in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region and the governorates of Jeddah, Taif, and Medina on Sunday, Muharram 6, 1448 AH, corresponding to June 21, 2026 AD, taking into account the Hajj season and the related operational and service arrangements.
The end of the academic year holiday begins in the regions of the Kingdom on Thursday, Muharram 10, 1448 AH, corresponding to June 25, 2026 AD, while the Summer season for the Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Jeddah, Taif, and Medina regions on Thursday, Muharram 17, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 2, 2026 AD.
The beginning of school in the Kingdom
The new academic year 1448 AH also witnesses the return of the administrative and supervisory bodies in the Kingdom’s schools on Sunday, Safar 28, 1448 AH, corresponding to August 16, 2026 AD, followed by the return of Practicing teachers to teach on Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 3, 1448 AH, corresponding to August 23, 2026 AD, provided that the beginning of studies for male and female students in all regions of the Kingdom is on Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 10, 1448 AH, corresponding to August 30, 2026 AD.
As for the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region and the governorates of Jeddah, Taif, and Medina, the return of the administrative and supervisory bodies will begin. On Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 3, 1448 AH, corresponding to August 16, 2026 AD, and teachers’ return on Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 10, 1448 AH, corresponding to August 23, 2026 AD, while studies for male and female students begin on Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 17, 1448 AH, corresponding to August 30, 2026 AD, according to the approved dates in the academic calendar.
