The World Yogasana Federation reviews in Dubai the development of championships and the cooperation of national federations

Dubai, June 5 / WAM / The World Yogasana Federation reviewed the development of international championships, cooperation between national federations, and qualification programs for referees and coaches.
This came during its meeting, which was hosted by the Emirates Sports for All Federation in cooperation with the Emirates Yoga Committee at the National Olympic Committee building in Dubai, in the presence of His Excellency Saeed Ali Al Ajel, President of the Federation, Ahmed Ibrahim Musabih, Chairman of the Emirates Yoga Committee, and Nouf Al Maroui, President of the Asian Yogasana Federation, along with representatives of the federations of Bahrain, Mauritania, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
Sheikha Sheikha Ali Al Jaber Al Sabah, President of the International Federation of Yogasana, participated alongside representatives of the rest of the member states in the meeting via “video communication” technology, and stressed the importance of unifying efforts to support the spread of this sport, and to enhance its development programs at the local, continental and international levels.
The attendees called for the importance of enhancing the prospects for cooperation between national federations during the next stage, in a way that contributes to raising the level of competition, expanding the base of practitioners of this sport, spreading it at all levels, and supporting the success of its various activities.
