Dubai Quran Radio…a decade of promoting moderate religious awareness
Diy, 7 June / WAM / Dubai Quran Radio, affiliated with the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage, celebrates the tenth anniversary of its launch, during which it established its position as a specialized platform that combines the message of the Holy Qur’an with the values of responsible media and contributed to enhancing moderate religious awareness and consolidating authentic values in society through purposeful content that combines authenticity and modernity and addresses various audience groups inside and outside the country.
Since it began broadcasting on 91.4 FM, the radio has succeeded in presenting a media model that has transcended the concept of traditional broadcasting through religious, awareness, cultural and social programs that have strengthened the connection with tolerant Islamic values and established the concepts of moderation, national belonging and preserving the civilizational and cultural heritage of the UAE.
His Excellency Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmouk, CEO of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage, confirmed that radio represents one of the qualitative media initiatives that succeeded over a full decade in transforming the religious message into a knowledge and cultural project that contributes to building humanity and strengthening the system of values in society, indicating that purposeful media is an essential partner in consolidating national identity and enhancing societal cohesion.
For her part, Natalie Joseph Awadessian, Director of the Center’s Broadcasting Department, said that the successes achieved by the radio came as a result of a clear media vision that focused on the quality of content, developing programs and platforms, and expanding the digital presence to ensure that the message reaches the public through various means, stressing the continuation of work on media innovation, serving the Holy Qur’an, and enhancing moderate religious awareness in society.
