The dollar maintains its gains near the highest level in two months

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of major currencies, stabilized at 100.03 points during today’s trading, remaining close to its highest level in two months recorded yesterday at 100.21 points, at a time when the dollar maintained its gains against most major currencies.

The euro recorded $1.1528, while the British pound reached $1.3335, a decrease of approximately 0.05% for each in Asian trading, after touching their lowest levels in two months during the previous session.

The Australian dollar fell by 0.1% to 0.7039 US dollars, while the New Zealand dollar recorded 0.5804 US dollars, and the Japanese yen fell to 160.295 against the dollar, continuing to fluctuate around the level of 160 yen to the dollar.

On the other hand, the yuan settled in external trading at 6.7857 against the dollar.
