The “Sharjah Executive” approves the controls for regulating the work and rewards of teachers of the “Qur’an and Sunnah Foundation”

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, chaired this Tuesday morning, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, the Council meeting, which was held in the office of His Highness the Ruler.

The Council discussed a number of topics concerned with monitoring the performance of government departments and bodies, and the efforts of institutions operating in the emirate to provide the necessities of decent living, enhance the quality of life for citizens and residents, and provide community well-being, in line with the emirate’s vision and future development directions.

Based on the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, which aims to consolidate authentic Islamic values and enhance the status of the sciences of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet in society, and the efforts of His Highness to support institutions concerned with teaching the Holy Qur’an and disseminating its sciences, and His Highness’s sponsorship of initiatives and programs that contribute to preparing generations adhering to their religion and national identity, and in implementation of the directives of His Highness, the Council adopted a decision regarding the controls for organizing the work and rewards of supervisors. And teachers at the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah of the Prophet, which aims to motivate educational and supervisory personnel and attract educational competencies, in addition to enhancing job discipline, raising the efficiency of educational and administrative performance, and defining job duties and behaviors.

The Council extended its thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for his great interest in the teachers and supervisors at the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah Foundation, and His Highness’s great support for them in appreciation of the sublime message they provide and the great work in teaching the Book of God Almighty and the Sunnah of His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and their contribution to building humanity and raising generations on good values ​​and morals. The Council also approved a list of violations and administrative penalties for supervisors and teachers in the Foundation.

The Council reviewed the annual report of the Department of Social Services for the year 2025 AD, which included statistics and the department’s work during the past year, and social assistance to citizens, numbering 11,683 beneficiaries, at an annual cost of more than 500 million dirhams, in addition to statistics on beneficiaries of social assistance and additional social assistance from which 1,892 beneficiaries benefit.

The report also discussed the efforts of the centers affiliated with the department, which provide social care and protection, such as: the nursing home, Wahat Al Rushd House, the Center for Services for the Elderly, Home Care Beneficiaries, and the Child and Family Protection Center, in addition to community services, such as: the Social Education Department, the Community Cohesion Department, and the department’s most prominent achievements.

The Council appreciated the vision and directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, which aim to enhance the lives of citizens and residents in the emirate, and to establish a development and humanitarian model that makes the human being the focus of attention and the goal of development, stressing that the qualitative initiatives, services and projects witnessed by the Emirate of Sharjah reflect His Highness’s keenness for the human being to grow up in a society that enjoys reassurance and stability at various levels, and for him to have the elements of decent living and a decent life from the early stages of his life until his advanced age, in an environment that preserves his dignity. It meets his needs and gives him a sense of security and belonging. The Council also praised the integrated efforts that contributed to delivering services to the beneficiaries with all ease and ease, until the service reached the eligible person in his or her place, which embodies a unique humanitarian approach that reduces burdens and enhances the quality of life and social well-being in the emirate.

The Council also praised the efforts of the Department of Social Services and all its employees, including previous and current leaders and cadres, appreciating their sincere efforts and continuous giving that contributed to building a pioneering social system, and stressed that the services provided by the Department are the result of integrated institutional work.
