Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud The Crown Prince, Prime Minister – may God protect him -, organizes Ministry of InteriorThe Global Security and Technology Summit (GSTS) will be held during the period from 9 to 11 Rajab 1448 AH, corresponding to 18 to 20 December 2026 AD, in the city of Riyadh, in a global event that brings together security, technology and innovation leaders, decision-makers, experts and innovators from various countries of the world, and is held in partnership with Tuwaiq Academy.
His Highness explained that the summit represents an international platform for exchanging experiences and anticipating the future of security and technology, and an extension of the Kingdom’s efforts to build an advanced security and technical system based on knowledge and innovation, and keeping pace with rapid changes and future challenges.
His Highness stated that the summit will contribute to enhancing international cooperation, unifying efforts, exchanging best practices, and enabling participants to explore promising opportunities and anticipate Transformations in the security and technical fields, which support raising operational efficiency, enhancing readiness, and preserving national gains.

Security and Technology Enrichment Month
The summit includes a package of accompanying qualitative events that are considered among the largest in the region, the most important of which is "Security and Technology Month" The enrichment, which includes specialized programmes, knowledge meetings and technical workshops implemented in partnership with leading international bodies, with the aim of enriching knowledge content and building national capabilities in the security and technical fields.
The summit also reviews the latest innovations and technical solutions in the security sectors, and provides a platform for communication between government agencies, the private sector, academic institutions and research centres, in a way that enhances strategic partnerships and exchanges of experiences in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, emerging technologies, smart surveillance technologies and crisis management, in addition to key sessions and specialized dialogues. And interactive exhibitions showcasing the latest developments in the security and technology industries globally.
The summit’s agenda includes organizing a competition "sword" Security and Technical Innovation International (SAIIF), which is considered the largest in the world in the field of security and technology, and will be held in Riyadh from November 19 to 21, 2026 AD, with the participation of an elite group of innovators, researchers and technical talents from various countries of the world.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis
The competition focuses on developing innovative solutions in a number of vital fields, including artificial intelligence and data analysis, emerging technologies and their security applications, digital forensics, technical investigations, and security. Cyber protection, infrastructure protection, and digital transformation in the security sector.
While the value of its prizes is five million riyals, which enhances the competitiveness of participants and supports the development of qualitative technical solutions that contribute to facing future security challenges.
The organization of the summit comes as a continuation of the successes achieved by the conference. "Preach good news" 2025, which set three Guinness World Records for the largest hackathon in the world, and included more than 60 key sessions in which officials, experts, and thought leaders participated, in addition to 80 workshops presented by about 150 male and female speakers, in addition to 10 interactive areas that contributed to enriching the experience of visitors and participants.
