5 major international pavilions dazzle visitors to the Middle East Watch and Jewelry Exhibition

Sharjah, June 12 / WAM / The activities of the 57th edition of the “Middle East Watch and Jewelery Exhibition” continue at the Expo Center Sharjah, which will receive visitors until next Sunday amid a large public turnout and wide international participation, as the exhibition brings together 400 exhibitors, including representatives of 11 foreign countries.
The exhibition includes five major international pavilions representing Italy, India, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand, providing visitors with an exceptional opportunity to learn about diverse design cultures that combine European sophistication and Asian luxury.
The international pavilions showcase the latest innovations and exclusive collections amidst remarkable competition to present rare collections and unique pieces that will be presented for the first time in the region’s markets, thus cementing the event’s position as a semi-annual strategic platform that brings together manufacturers, importers and retailers with a segment of buyers that is considered the most demanding and sophisticated in a Gulf market known for its high purchasing power in the gold, jewelry and luxury watches sector.
The official Italian pavilion has a remarkable presence this year, as the Italian Trade Agency “ITA” leads a pavilion that is the largest in the exhibition, which includes 34 specialized companies representing the most prominent models of Italian excellence in goldsmithing, fine jewelry, and silver craftsmanship. This broad participation comes as a culmination of prosperous trade relations between the two countries, as Italian jewelry exports to the UAE amounted to 1.3 billion euros, equivalent to 5.55 billion dirhams, during the year 2025, recording an annual growth of 12.6%, while it increased. Italy’s market share will reach 8% of the country’s total imports of jewelry during the first two months of 2026.
Regarding the participating Italian brands, Julia Appaticola confirmed that the company is keen to participate in the exhibition because of the opportunity it provides to communicate with its customers in the UAE and the region, noting that the brand is displaying jewelry handcrafted in the city of Florence from 18-carat gold and natural diamonds, which reflects the quality and excellence of Italian industry.
Ilaria Company explained that it displays a variety of jewelry that includes diamonds, precious stones, pearls and coral, stressing that the exhibition constitutes an important platform for introducing Italian designs that combine classic character and modern style.
Indian companies recorded a strong presence that reflects the depth of commercial relations and growing confidence in the Sharjah exhibition as a main gateway to the Middle East markets, where the exhibits were distinguished by the brilliance of rare gemstones and elaborate designs. Shefali Sawhney expressed her happiness at participating in the exhibition for more than 17 years, stressing that the current session witnesses a distinguished presence and great diversity in the exhibits, while the company displays a collection of jewelry studded with natural diamonds, emeralds, rubies and rare gemstones.
Sangeeta Rakyan pointed out that the Indian company has been participating in all sessions of the exhibition for more than 20 years, pointing out that the exhibits include jewelry made of 18-carat gold and encrusted with natural gemstones and colored diamonds, which receive wide attention from lovers of luxury jewelry, praising the support provided by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to make the event a success and create the appropriate atmosphere for exhibitors to present their creativity in the best way.
The Hong Kong Pavilion attracted attention thanks to the combination of long experience with design innovations that keep pace with global economic trends and market changes. A representative of one of the participating companies confirmed that the company, which has more than 25 years of experience in the jewelry sector, is participating this year with a distinctive collection that combines coral, turquoise, 18-carat gold, and natural diamonds in designs that reflect a combination of luxury and high craftsmanship.
Ezzat Ghali, a representative of a jewelry company from Hong Kong, explained that the company has been keen to participate regularly in the exhibition for more than 22 years, pointing out the display of new collections of diamond jewelry that have been developed to keep pace with the changes taking place in the global market and the rise in gold prices while maintaining quality and high-end designs.
The exhibitors praised the organizational level of the exhibition, stressing that it represents an exceptional window to showcase their unique innovations and the latest trends in international fashion in the luxury watch sector and the jewelry industry encrusted with diamonds, pearls and precious stones. They appreciated the continuous support for the event, pointing out that this interest reflects positively and directly on expanding the scope of their business and opens promising horizons for them to consolidate their presence and build sustainable partnerships within the region’s markets.
