Iran’s nuclear program will be dismantled and nuclear materials destroyed and removed

Reuters, citing a high-ranking official in the administration of US President Donald Trump, revealed the true features and strict provisions of the written agreement with Iran, which comes amid an atmosphere of escalating military tension in the Arabian Gulf region.
The terms of the agreement – according to the senior American official – stipulate a complete and permanent end to Iran’s nuclear ambition, in addition to imposing strict restrictions on Tehran’s regional behavior and ensuring freedom of international navigation, while linking any financial flows to full actual implementation on the ground.
Comprehensive nuclear dismantling and material destruction
The Trump administration’s leaks came to put an end to the conflicting news. The official confirmed to Reuters that the anticipated deal would not only “freeze” activities, but would go much further than that, noting that:
- Iran’s nuclear program will be completely dismantled.
- All existing nuclear materials will be destroyed and completely removed from the country.
These conditions reflect the high ceiling of American demands, and clarify the nature of the “written agreement” that Trump referred to earlier, stressing that it is completely different from the narrative that Iranian platforms are trying to promote.
Secure the Strait of Hormuz and stop funding agents
At the regional and security levels, the agreement established crucial conditions that guarantee the stability of navigation and prevent Iranian military interference in waterways. The agreement stipulates Tehran’s commitment to permanently open the Strait of Hormuz to global trade, a clause that gains utmost importance after the recent attack that targeted Indian ships leaving the Strait.
