Haiti faces Scotland with an element of surprise

Analysts considered that Haiti’s qualification to the World Cup, in light of the ongoing turmoil the Caribbean country is witnessing, is one of the most inspiring stories of the tournament this year, expressing their hope that the team will leave a real mark during its participation in the United States.

The Haiti national team is ranked 83rd in the world, and will face the Scotland national team in Boston (5:00 a.m. Sunday, UAE time), in its first World Cup match since the 1974 edition. The Haitian national team is the weakest party in Group C, which also includes Brazil and Morocco, but the “Grenadiers” players believe in their ability to pull off a surprise during the tournament.
