"Culture and arts" It crowns the winners of the Portrait Award… and King Salman is the focus of its ninth session
The Saudi Arabian Society is crowned For Culture and ArtsIn Jeddah, tomorrow, Monday, the winners of the ninth edition of the Dia Aziz Portrait Award will take place on the stage of the University of Business and Technology, in a session centered around the personality of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his achievements.

The Dia Aziz Portrait Award constitutes the only specialized initiative in this artistic field in the Middle East. The competition has maintained its annual regularity for nine consecutive years, consolidating its position as a major platform supporting the development of the Arab fine arts scene and attracting talent.
The upcoming ceremony witnesses the announcement of the names of the winners and the honoring of the works that passed the judging criteria, organized by the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah, and with the support of the “Layan Cultural” and “Scent of Culture” foundations. This partnership reflects the state of integration between cultural and educational institutions to sponsor the visual arts.
Since its inception, the award has contributed to enriching the Saudi plastic movement by presenting multiple national and cultural topics. The initiative provided wide spaces for artists to present their experiences in portrait drawing, which supports the advancement of this art and enhances the Kingdom’s position as an incubator for visual creativity.
