Abu Dhabi, June 14 / WAM / The “Manufacturers 2026” exhibition for jobs in industry and advanced technology emphasized its role in supporting the localization of national competencies, by linking citizens with employment and training opportunities in promising industrial and technological sectors, including artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy.

The exhibition comes within the implementation paths of the “Make in the Emirates” initiative and the National Content Program, with the aim of enhancing the readiness of Emirati cadres to contribute to leading sustainable industrial growth during the next stage.

This year’s edition of the exhibition showed that sustainable industrial growth in the UAE depends not only on the increase in the number of factories and establishments and the increase in the volume of exports, but also the sector’s ability to create quality professional opportunities for Emirati cadres, and link them directly to future sectors that will lead sustainable economic growth in the coming years.

“Manufacturers”, as a practical tool for transforming industrial strategies into tangible results of investments, projects, job opportunities and added value, embodies the philosophy that the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology focuses on, and its presentation of the “Make in the Emirates” platform as a comprehensive national platform for transforming opportunities into investments, technology into factories, and partnerships into results on the ground.

“Masnaseen” reveals a shift in the concept of localization within the industrial sector, through building sustainable career paths in strategic sectors, empowering young people with future skills, and linking them to advanced technology and artificial intelligence as tools to raise efficiency, productivity and competitiveness.

In just three years, “Manufacturers” succeeded in providing 5,200 job opportunities for Emirati cadres in the industrial and technological fields, which reflects the ability of the industrial system in the UAE to transform economic growth into real and tangible opportunities, and confirms that investing in people is one of the most important possibilities for enhancing competitiveness and readiness for the future within these national trends.

The 2026 edition of the “Manufacturers” exhibition witnessed an increasing turnout that reflects the growing confidence in the national industrial sector, as it witnessed the attendance of more than 4,500 job seekers over two days, which resulted in more than 800 male and female citizens being initially qualified for employment.

These results gain their importance from the momentum witnessed by the national industrial sector, as the sector’s contribution to the UAE’s gross domestic product has increased by about 70% since 2021, while industrial exports exceeded 262 billion dirhams in 2025, in addition to identifying more than 5,000 products as opportunities for local manufacturing, which enhances growth opportunities and investment attractiveness. These indicators not only reflect an expansion of the national production base, but also open new paths for employment, training and professional development in valuable sectors. High additive.

From this angle, “Masaneen” offers a different model for employment, as it not only connects the job seeker to the company offering the jobs, but also connects the citizen to the future of an entire sector that is growing steadily. The 2026 edition of Musaneen provided more than 1,000 new job opportunities for young people, presented by more than 70 leading national companies in strategic specializations including artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, engineering, clean energy, industrial services, and emerging technologies.

The new edition of the exhibition was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the UAE Talent Competitiveness Council (NAFES), the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, and ADNOC as the strategic partner, in addition to the Department of Government Empowerment in Abu Dhabi and e&, and sponsored by “Forves Mazars”, “SLP” and “ZCAA”.

These qualitative partnerships embodied the exhibition’s ability to align the needs of industrial companies with the aspirations of Emirati job seekers, and link industrial expansion plans with training, qualification and employment paths. They also translated the growing role of the National Content Program in directing economic value within the national economy, which supports the growth of national companies, expands job opportunities, enhances the growth of national content, and opens more industrial and productive investment opportunities to investors wishing to enter the Emirati market.
