The continuous rise of gold and other precious metals

Capitals, June 17 / WAM / Precious metals continued to record gains today, Wednesday, led by gold, which rose for the fifth session in a row.

Gold rose in instant transactions by 0.3% to reach $4,341.12 per ounce by 02:30 GMT, trading near the highest level in a week recorded on Monday.

US gold futures for August delivery also rose by 0.2% to record $4,361.10 per ounce.

In the same context, other precious metals continued to achieve gains, as silver rose 0.3% to $70.38 per ounce, platinum rose 0.5% to $1,812.80, while palladium increased 0.3% to $1,355.65.
