Gold continues its gains in the face of the dollar’s decline

US gold futures for August delivery rose 0.2 percent to $4,361.10.

Other precious metals also continued their gains, as silver rose in spot transactions 0.3 percent to $70.38 per ounce, platinum increased 0.5 percent to $1,812.80, and palladium rose 0.3 percent to $1,355.65.
