The price of Sharbatly bananas in the Philippines decreased by 3.2%, recording 6.6 riyals in May, compared to 6.8 riyals in the month. Previous. The price of local grapes (watermelon) decreased by 5.2% to reach 3.5 riyals compared to 3.7 riyals, followed by Central African lemons, with a decrease of 6.9% to 12 riyals, compared to 12.9 riyals in April.
Prunes/ Bukhara Turki recorded a significant decline of 8.1%, reaching 15.7 riyals, compared to 17 riyals in the previous month. At the bottom of the list, imported grapes, peaches, and cantaloupes witnessed the largest declines. Lebanese grapes fell by 8.4% to record 18.5 riyals in May compared to 20.2 riyals in April, and Lebanese peaches fell by 9.8% to reach 17.1 riyals compared to 19.0 riyals, while local cantaloupes were at the bottom of the list as the most declining variety by 10%, falling to 4.7 riyals after recording 5.2 riyals in the previous month of April.
