Ammar Tayel is the youngest Emirati boxer to win by knockout in his first professional fight

Dubai, June 19 / WAM / Ammar Tayel, a player of the UAE Boxing National Team, achieved a major achievement in the Emirati boxing career, after he became the youngest Emirati boxer to fight a professional fight and win by knockout, at the beginning of his career in the professional world.

The achievement came during his participation in the “Immortal Rain” professional boxing tournament, which was held in Galleria Square in Dubai, after Tayel was able to decide his fight against Ugandan Davis Areho by knockout in the 59 kg competition.

Mohammed Eid Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the UAE Boxing Federation, confirmed that this achievement reflects the continuous development witnessed by Emirati boxing, and the success of the efforts made to discover and create national talents and qualify them to compete at the highest levels.

He said that what Ammar Tayel achieved represents an important milestone for boxing, and confirms the players’ ability to excel in professional competitions and achieve honorable results that raise the country’s name in various sporting forums.

For his part, Omar Al Kindi, a member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Boxing Federation and Chairman of the Professionals Committee, confirmed that this achievement embodies the continuous development that the game is witnessing in the country, thanks to the great support enjoyed by talented players and enabling them to represent the Emirates in various sporting events.
