"Council of Muslim Elders" Strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the capital airport in Niger

Abu Dhabi, June 20 / WAM / The Muslim Council of Elders condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted Diori Hamani Airport in the capital of the Republic of Niger, resulting in the killing and wounding of dozens of people.

In a statement issued today, the Council affirmed its categorical rejection of such terrorist and criminal acts that contradict the teachings of the true Islamic religion, all divine laws, human values, and international conventions and norms, calling for the necessity of firmly confronting violent and terrorist groups that seek to spread destruction and devastation and destabilize security and stability, and to strengthen efforts aimed at combating hate speech, confronting extremist ideology, and spreading the values ​​of dialogue, tolerance, coexistence, and peace.

He expressed his sincere condolences to the Republic of Niger; The government and people, and the families and families of the victims, asking God Almighty to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
