Universities organize interactive experiences that help students choose future career paths

Universities are currently organizing open days, introductory tours, and promotional offers, including discounts and scholarships of up to 50% of tuition fees. The open days include interactive experiences designed to attract students and help them explore academic majors and future career paths, and learn about labor market trends and the skills that employers are looking for. The majors offered included dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences and nutrition, engineering in its various branches, arts, architecture, and interior design, artificial intelligence, and communication and media. Creative industries, business administration, law, arts, education, psychology, data science, and other future disciplines.

Registration officials confirmed that the introductory events organized by universities focus on answering the main questions that concern students and parents when choosing a university major, explaining that many universities have developed new majors to keep pace with the transformations in the labor market. They pointed out that the updates aim to provide students with the knowledge and skills required in the future, and to ensure that learning outcomes are aligned with the needs of economic sectors and changing employment requirements, pointing out that the advertisements and promotional campaigns launched by universities with the approaching start of the end-of-year exams for the 2025-2026 academic year, which begin on June 24 and continue until next July 3, are witnessing a state of competition to attract graduates, through a set of incentives, which included offering scholarships and discounts on fees with the aim of attracting the largest possible number of male and female students.

Abu Dhabi University announced, through its social media platforms, scholarships ranging between 25 and 50%, in addition to obtaining an exemption of 3,000 dirhams when registering for the fall semester 2026-2027 during the open week, while benefiting from flexible payment plans.

Last Thursday, June 18, at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain University organized an open day for students to learn about its various specializations and meet with faculty members, during which it presented exclusive offers, including a 100% exemption from application fees and scholarships of up to 50%. The activities included an “Exploration Day,” where students went through an interactive experience that allowed them to explore the university learning environment and learn about practical applications in the fields of pharmacy and nutrition.

City University of Ajman invited students and their families to join the open week it is organizing on the university campus, and discover a wide range of academic opportunities, to benefit from scholarships of up to 50%, a complete exemption from acceptance fees, meet faculty members and admission advisors, and tour modern educational facilities, in addition to learning about academic programs and professional paths.

Liwa University urged students to take advantage of exemptions of up to 40% of tuition fees, in addition to scholarships that may amount to 50%, noting that it will continue to receive applications for registration for the summer semester 2026. In the same context, the American University of Ras Al Khaimah announced the provision of scholarships to students based on academic excellence, which includes varying exemptions and reductions in tuition fees.
